Rochelle is a registered Occupational Therapist of British Columbia, graduating from the
University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2004.
Rochelle has worked in paediatrics for the past 15
years in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, community support at child development centres, and tertiary care settings at both Sunny Hill Health Centre and BC Children’s Hospital.
In 2010 she completed a Masters of Rehabilitation Science (MRSc) at UBC, focusing on research in paediatric feeding. In 2019, Rochelle became a certified Lactation Consultant to further augment her ability to work with new parents and support infant feeding.
Rochelle has extensive experience and expertise in the area of paediatric feeding from birth to school aged.
Rochelle’s practice at Canopy focuses on supporting infant feeding, including assessment of infant feeding, optimizing feeding through positioning, bottle or breastfeeding techniques, and feeding routines. Rochelle is able to support older infants and children and their caregivers to work through challenging feeding behaviours, successfully transition to solids, and increase the variety of foods ingested and enjoyment of mealtimes. Rochelle works closely with community practitioners such as Physicians, Midwives and Dietitians.

to the same client both publicly and privately. At the time of intake Rochelle can provide
resources for alternate avenues of feeding support if there is the potential for any actual or
perceived conflict of interest.
