River is a 2200 hour RMT who graduated with Honours with Distinction from the 2-year massage therapy program at Alberta College of Massage Therapy. She is an active member of the Canadian Massage & Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association. River is skilled in a variety of techniques including therapeutic, deep tissue, trigger point release, joint mobilization, and relaxation massage, and has experience treating individuals who are post-surgical, pre- and post-natal, athletes, those who have repetitive strain/ use injuries, and more. With 8 years of experience as a personal trainer, River has worked with clients from all walks of life, lending invaluable experience and knowledge to her massage therapy practice. She is certified in both Upper and Lower Body Mobility and incorporates movement into her treatments as an important piece to help patients manage their pain. Using orthopedic testing and a patient-focused approach, she will work with you to create a treatment plan appropriate for you and your goals. Outside of practice, River can be found enjoying the mountains, swinging kettlebells, eating snacks, or at the dog park with her dog.
