About Revathy
Registered Psychotherapist
When I became a therapist, I felt a strong pull to create space for people to explore their stories in a way that felt true to them. Not defined by expectations or labels, but grounded in what feels meaningful and aligned. I wanted to support people in understanding what their version of normal is, and to help them build a life that reflects their own needs, values, and vision of well-being.
I came to understand that meaningful, lasting change doesn’t happen by chance. It requires consistency, intention, and a space that feels both supportive and grounded. Much like growth in nature, real change takes time, the right conditions, and ongoing care. This is what led me to build a practice that values not only empathy and connection, but also structure, continuity, and quality of care.
My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally sensitive. I draw on EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic and art-based therapy, along with tools from CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy, to help you find clarity, resilience, and steadier footing at a pace that feels right for you.
I work with a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, addiction, ADHD, and dissociation, and I offer LGBTQ+ affirming care. I also have a particular focus on supporting people from marginalized and racialized communities navigating burnout, cultural stress, and identity.
