About Rebecca
Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am currently a master's level intern, dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and completely judgment-free environment. My aim is to establish a space where you can feel present and open, empowering you to pursue your personal goals and aspirations.
I take a holistic, strength-based approach to therapy, addressing not only your immediate concerns but also your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and internal family systems (parts work). I am particularly interested in understanding how our families, communities, societies, and environments shape our experiences and ultimately influence the way we live.
In my work, I have found great value in forming meaningful connections with people. I have extensive experience working with youth, including those with disabilities, vulnerable adolescents, athletes, young parents, and individuals struggling with addiction. This experience has provided me with valuable insights into the complexities of the human experience and the resilience that can arise from challenging circumstances. Additionally, I hold a bachelor's degree in education and have over a decade of experience as an educator.
It would be a genuine honor to accompany you on your therapeutic journey, built on a foundation of trust and mutual respect. I look forward to supporting you on your path to growth and healing.
