About Randall

Where are you from? Vancouver, Canada What were you doing before pursuing RMT? Before pursuing RMT, I was a kinesiologist and living abroad in Australia. I have also worked with a diverse population including individuals with disabilities and older adults with dementia. Why do you want to be an RMT? I want to become an RMT because my interest stemmed from doing my Bachelor in Kinesiology. Ultimately I want to make people feel good while keeping their bodies moving. I am passionate about lifelong physical activity whether that is elite sport or just doing a leisurely walk after dinner. How do you like to spend your time outside of work/school? When I am not at school or work, I like to catch up with friends by trying new restaurants and cafes around the city especially during dine out or happy hour. I’m a big fan of matcha, coffee, and beer and will actively seek out cool places to try. I also like to stay active, cook, play mobile games, listen to r&b music and watch TV when I have the time–Severance fans anyone? What is your favourite thing about VCMT? I like the instructors and how they can share their work experiences by relating it back to course content. A close second would be the filtered water machine and weekly fruits. Do you speak any languages other than English fluently? If so, which ones? I speak English and conversational Cantonese.
