About Rachel
Rachel has always had an interest in working with pre and postnatal women. In 2017 she graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc in Kinesiology and a minor in psychology. Rachel decided to continue her education to become a Registered Massage Therapist and in 2020 graduated from the Ontario College of Health and Technology. While completing her RMT diploma she took additional courses in pre and postnatal massage treatments, which included a placement at Sunnybrook Hospital. This combined knowledge allowed her to gain valuable practice in working with women who were experiencing different pregnancy journeys. These experiences deepened her prior interest in allied health care for pre and postnatal women. Rachel uses Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques, myofascial and manual lymph drainage techniques.
She is excited to be a part of the team at The Womb.
