About Qualia

Hi, I’m Qualia Reed (They/Them, He/Him). I like to begin sessions by asking what’s the best way to support you, because I want to always approach each session with curiosity. Just because I knew yesterday how to best support you doesn’t mean that’s what you may want today. Throughout the last 20 years of my healthcare career, including my time as a paramedic and my work as a registered nurse, I’ve seen firsthand that trauma, depression, anxiety, and overwhelm can cause profound experiences of feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I believe that no matter what we’ve been through, we all have the capacity to heal, rediscover ourselves, and grow beyond the pain of the past. I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space to explore your story, strengthen your inner resources, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and whole. I support people who feel alienated, misunderstood, or disconnected as they navigate career transition, burnout, anxiety, depression, sexuality, or gender identity. My practice is built on a foundation that is deeply trauma-informed and 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming. For me, therapy is about collaborating with you to design care that fits your unique life, because the heart of healing lies in the relationship we build together. It’s about helping you move closer to that life that is ultimately meaningful for you.
