Poonam completed her competency-based registered massage therapy program from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. During her academic tenure, she got an opportunity to enhance her skills and knowledge through participation in many clinical outreaches – such as working with athletes, the elderly, pre/ postnatal and individuals with systemic and central nervous system pathologies. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve optimal levels of health and wellness in their life through assessment and treatment tailored to their specific needs. She believes in a whole-body approach to treatment and relaxation. Her massage techniques include different kinds of active and passive modalities such as Swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, pin and stretch, neuromuscular techniques, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), and hydrotherapy. She is certified in Hot/Cold Stone Therapeutic Massage and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
