[Phoenix Hourie](https://aroha.ca/phoenix-hourie/), BSW, RSW is a two spirit, non-binary, Red River Métis counsellor who draws from a variety of therapeutic frameworks such as CBT, Strengths-based models, harm reduction, and Expressive Arts Therapies. They believe relationship building is key for effective counselling and strive to foster relationships that feel safe, empowering, and affirming. Phoenix currently works with individuals of all ages, focusing on gender and sexual identity, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, Indigenous culture and identity, relationships, and trauma. They are sex positive, sex work positive, kink informed, trauma informed, and aims to provide services that are actively anti-oppressive. They’re a Registered Social Worker in SK and MB offering individual sessions and is an NIHB practitioner in both provinces.
