Meet Philippa, a Student Massage Therapist currently residing and practicing within Calgary. Philippa's background includes working in therapeutic recreation and mental health; shaping her journey to becoming a massage therapist! She believes in the value of holistic, non pharmaceutical care and is passionate about helping clients manage the pain and tension within their body, whether physical or emotional. Having worked with people from all walks of life and varying conditions she understands not all needs are the same and each treatment will be unique and specific to the individual client. Entrusting your health and well-being to another person can be intimidating, especially if its your first treatment. This is why Philippa takes the utmost care to create a warm, welcoming, non judgmental experience. She wishes for clients to leave feeling relaxed, renewed, and that they've received the support they were looking for. In her own life, Philippa maintains her wellness with lots of walking, good foods, writing in her journal, and kitty cuddles. Philippa is very intentional about recharging her introvert battery and will use this time to try her hand at a new hobby, work on a current DIY project at home, or simply read.
