About Paul

Paul graduated from the University of Toronto, obtaining his Honours Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Committed to lifelong learning, Paul continued to develop his knowledge and skills through ongoing education. He obtained his Level III (Upper and Lower Quadrant) Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Subsequently, through Kinetacore Physical Therapy Education (now EIM) he trained to be a Level II certified Functional Dry Needling Practitioner. Paul is results-oriented, focused on achieving positive outcomes for his patients. Paul believes in keeping diagnosis and treatment simple, emphasizing patient-education, correct movement/posture and restoring function through rehabilitative exercise. To facilitate faster recovery times, he utilizes the manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilization and manipulation, including manipulation of the thoracic and lumbar spine; soft-tissue release; dry needling and athletic taping. As a certified Shift Level II Concussion Management Provider, Paul can assist within a multi-disciplinary framework to achieve optimal recovery from concussion. Keeping physically active is an integral part of Paul’s life. As such, he enjoys working with an active population of all ages – from high level performer to weekend warrior. But, if you happen to operate at a slower pace, Paul is driven to help all his patients attain maximal participation in the activities they love most. He has extensive experience with post-surgical rehabilitation and the treatment of injuries of a more chronic, longstanding nature. Having grown up in the big city and recently re-located to Midhurst, Paul and his wife are thrilled to have the outdoors at arms reach, especially for keeping their two wonderful boys active.  It’s also the perfect place for Paul to pursue his favorite activities – including running, cycling, snowboarding and golfing.
