Patrick graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2022. Patrick understands that the human body is very complex and intricate and its maintenance is crucial to overall health and wellness.
His career path into the Massage Therapy profession came after realizing that the many injuries acquired over the years in various sports required both a comprehensive and a thorough musculoskeletal based approach to rehab. Patrick grew up in Brazil playing soccer from a young age, as well as Olympic handball which required dedicated training and high level competition. Invariably, participation in sports of this caliber is often accompanied by a higher risk of injuries, which ultimately steered him down the path of healthcare.
Patrick also recognizes that an important aspect of wellness is a well balanced and regulated nervous system, allowing our body to recalibrate and be primed for its function.
With a variety of techniques and a refined skills set, Patrick will determine the most suitable treatment based on the patient’s presenting symptoms.
He integrates myofascial release, joint mobilization, Swedish massage, deep tissue, and trigger point release into all aspects of his treatments.
