Growing up, I was always drawn to understanding people’s emotions and the invisible stories that shaped their lives. Coming from a culture where silence often surrounded pain, I learned early on how unspoken feelings can weigh heavily on our sense of self and relationships. My journey toward becoming a psychotherapist began with that realization — a desire to transform emotional pain into understanding and connection, both for myself and for those around me. In my work, I strive to create a warm, compassionate space where clients feel safe to be seen and heard. I believe healing begins in relationships rooted in trust and authenticity. My approach integrates psychodynamic exploration with practical strategies from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also bring a culturally sensitive lens, recognizing how identity, migration, and social context shape our experiences of distress and resilience. I work collaboratively with clients to help them reconnect with their values, regulate emotions, and develop more fulfilling relationships. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy from the Université de Hearst in Ontario, as well as a background in Psychology from the Université de Montréal and a specialization in helping relationships. I provide therapy in French, English, and Arabic.
