About Olivier

Olivier graduated from Mcgill University in 2019 with a Masters of Physiotherapy. Prior to completing his degree at McGill, Olivier studied and competed at Fresno State University as a member of their cross-country and track roster. He competed in events ranging from 800m to the 10km cross-country. Struggling with injuries during his time in California, Olivier decided to transfer to the University of Victoria where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. This decision was prompted by his desire to gain better insight into injury risk reduction and injury management. Since graduating, Olivier has always looked for ways to connect more runners in the West-Island. He founded Nomad Runners in the summer of 2022 with his good friend Justin. The group continues to meet regularly every wednesday night at 6:30, with an always free formula. As a physiotherapist, Olivier maximizes his knowledge of running, performance and rehabilitation to help everyone dealing with acute and chronic injuries. He utilizes manual therapy, dry needling and exercise prescription to get his patients moving again.
