Ofure Obinyan-Williams (she/her) is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.) with a passion for providing holistic, compassionate mental health support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life stressors, and significant life transitions, including parenthood, career changes, and adapting to a new environment. Ofure recognizes that life is constantly evolving and believes that having the right support can help individuals navigate these changes with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence. Her approach is grounded in the belief that counselling should be tailored to each person’s unique experiences, needs, and circumstances. Ofure draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing. Her practice is trauma-informed, integrative, and culturally responsive, allowing her to adapt her therapeutic approach to the individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. She strives to create a therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental, supportive, and validating—one where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their counselling journey. Ofure views therapy as a collaborative process and is committed to accompanying each individual as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth.
