Originally from Windsor, Ontario, I was raised by immigrant parents whose history of escaping invasion shaped my deep appreciation for resilience and community. These values fueled my passion for helping others navigate significant life transitions and stress. My professional path shifted from medicine to mental health following the profound personal loss of both my parents within a single year. Providing palliative care for my mother and supporting my father, a longtime physician, through his own illness inspired me to specialize in grief and loss. Today, I am dedicated to providing a safe, virtual space where clients feel truly heard and understood. With years of experience in education, I have unique insight into the intense stressors facing teachers and professionals. I am adept at conflict resolution and adapting my approach to suit the unique needs of every individual.
