About Nirav
Nirav is a highly experienced physiotherapist with over two decades of experience in all aspects of Physiotherapy, including sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, pain management, and functional assessments. Since arriving in Windsor in 2003, he has worked as a primary physiotherapist at Wardle’s/Uptown Physiotherapy. Over those 15 years, he treated patients recovering from various conditions like Osteoarthritis, motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, and chronic pain. His extensive career includes 5 years of home-based rehabilitation with Bayshore Therapy and Rehab, as well as collaborative pain management at City Center Health Care, where he worked closely with physicians, kinesiologists, and other healthcare professionals as part of the Provincial Acute Low Back Prevention Team.
Throughout his career, Nirav has demonstrated a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. He has extensive experience treating post-operative and geriatric populations, utilizing manual therapy techniques and Acupuncture, including functional dry needling. His background includes conducting educational talks on pain management, contributing to chronic pain rehabilitation programs, and performing detailed assessments for WSIB, employers, and insurance companies. With a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Mumbai, multiple professional certifications, and a strong foundation in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, Nirav continues to be a trusted healthcare provider dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
In his free time, he can be found hiking, doing yoga, meditating, or bringing his 2 kids back and forth from activities. Feel free to hit him up for a game of chess or Jeopardy. He loves reading and still consumes 2-3 books a month!
