About Nima
Nima has an extensive background in sport, dating back to childhood where he competed in both hockey and basketball. His interest in physiotherapy developed through a desire to better understand his own injuries and learn how to manage them effectively.
Nima has experience across a variety of clinical settings, including neurological rehabilitation, acute hospital care, orthopaedics, sports injuries and return-to-sport rehabilitation, as well as working with geriatric populations where he developed a strong appreciation for the importance of healthy ageing.
Born and raised in British Columbia, Nima completed both his Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. His treatment approach emphasizes patient education, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and individualized exercise prescription.
Outside of the clinic, Nima enjoys watching hockey, staying active, and spending time with friends and family. He is fluent in both English and Farsi. He can also speak French at a beginner level.
