Nicole Manes, MACP, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying); Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner Nicole is a bilingual Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) licensed to practice with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She is also a Certified Sound Therapy Practitioner and Vocalist. Nicole offers personal counselling in English and Spanish for concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, chronic pain, health concerns, PTSD, relationship issues, immigration and life transitions. Her previous experience as a public relations professional and journalist give her a unique perspective with which to help clients struggling with workplace matters, work/life balance and career development concerns. Nicole employs a multidisciplinary talk-based, somatic-based, energy-based and spiritual-based therapeutic approach that is culturally sensitive, queer-affirming and trauma-informed. Nicole combines a variety of talk-based counselling modalities to support clients including Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. She is passionate about furthering the integration of talk therapy with sound therapy and other somatic practices such as breathwork, tapping and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to help clients reduce stress and activate their own healing capabilities for enhanced mental health and wellbeing.
