About Niamh

Niamh - pronounced "Neeve" moved to Ottawa in 2009 from Dublin Ireland. In 2016, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Mental Health from Carleton University. In 2022, she earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University, where was honored with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Oncology Division Graduation Award for her exemplary academic performance and leadership in the area of oncology physiotherapy. She continues to have a strong interest in cancer care and is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their recovery journey . With advanced postgraduate training in pelvic floor physiotherapy, as well as pre- and post-natal care, her expertise allows her to offer her patients specialized support in pelvic health, pregnancy-related discomfort, as well as postnatal recovery, all while taking an individualized approach to treatment. Niamh also works part time at The Ottawa Hospital as an acute care physiotherapist providing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with with family, friends, her dog Oscar and attends weekly yoga, pilates and spin classes.
