About Nelani
With over seven years of clinical experience, Nelani is passionate about creating a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to embrace their authentic selves. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and takes a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy.
Nelani’s focus includes depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem and other mood-related concerns. She has worked with adults, students, children and families in a variety of settings, including mental health services, university and community health centres, and crisis support.
She is a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Outside of her professional life, Nelani enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, spending time with loved ones and fine-tuning her culinary skills in the kitchen.
