About Neil
Neil is a Registered Social Worker (R.S.W.) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). He is also a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) and trained in a variety of therapeutic models.
His focus in psychotherapy includes working with painful and difficult challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, negative self-image and difficulties with boundaries and developing more satisfying relationships. Neil is reflective on the unique challenges faced by members of diverse populations and enjoys working with people from all walks of life including but not limited to members of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities (including gender diverse), neurodiverse people and of course, women who are comfortable working with a male.
Neil draws from a variety of established therapeutic approaches to assist clients in discovering self-compassionate ways to work through distressing mental health and relationship challenges and developing more satisfying and egalitarian personal relationships. He aims to provide a safe space to take steps towards healing and personal/family growth. His integrative conversational approach is trauma-informed, collaborative and he strives to individualize sessions to meet you and/or your family's needs.
