Nate grew up in the Lower Mainland playing as many sports as he could. He ended up focusing on volleyball, winning a national bronze medal during his 17U season. Nate graduated from UBC with his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2019 and since then he has been practicing as a Kinesiologist. Nate has experience in both ICBC and private injury rehabilitation from his time working in clinics throughout the Lower Mainland and volunteering with the Coquitlam Junior Adanacs. Nate focuses on individualized programs that are built to help patients get back to their day-to-day activities.
In his free time, Nate volunteers as a volleyball coach with Focus Volleyball Club and Burnaby North High School and plays volleyball himself, to make sure he can always keep up with the kids he coaches. During the winter months, you'll find Nate on a snowboard on some mountain around the Pacific Northwest, and during the summer, he enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and dog.
