Trauma-Informed Therapist
Healing has always been at the heart of Nancy's work.
Before becoming a therapist, Nancy spent nearly twenty years as a Registered Massage Therapist in multidisciplinary healthcare settings. These experiences shaped her belief that healing is most effective when we consider the whole person—mind, body, and nervous system.
Today, Nancy is a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) who provides trauma-informed counselling for adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and the lasting effects of trauma.
Nancy's approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-informed practices that help clients better understand themselves, strengthen emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. She has a particular passion for supporting women through difficult life experiences, relationship challenges, identity shifts, and recovery from emotional trauma.
Her clinical work is informed by training in Brainspotting, EMDR, attachment-based approaches, nervous system regulation, and trauma recovery. Drawing upon both her counselling and healthcare backgrounds, Nancy understands the powerful connection between emotional wellbeing, physical health, and the nervous system.
