About Nadine

Hello! My name is Nadine, and I am an associate therapist with MindRight Counselling and Consulting Ltd. I hold both an Associates of Arts and Bachelor’s of Arts degree majoring in Psychology from Langara College and the University of British Columbia. I also hold a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and am a Registered Clinical Counselor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). At the heart of the work I do lies compassion and curiosity. I work from a de-pathologizing and affirming framework and believe in the inherent wisdom and resources of the individuals that I work with. Sessions with me are typically structured within a trauma -informed, humanistic framework; which acknowledges the relationship between the biological, psychological and social aspects of life and health. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, DBT, attachment theory, parts work/IFS, and gestalt elements into my work as I learn and understand more about what the client's goals and needs are. My aim is to create a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore and re-connect with their core selves with the aim of living a more authentic and peaceful life.
