About Nadia

Currently not accepting new clients Are you struggling with regulating or feeling your emotions? Is your mind filled with negative, ruminating, or intrusive thoughts? Or perhaps you’re feeling stuck or are resorting to self-sabotaging behaviours? I offer therapy to individuals that are struggling with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, self-worth, relationship conflict, life transitions, criminal justice involvement, trauma, and chronic pain. If you feel that it is finally time to address these issues and take the first step towards personal growth and wellbeing- welcome, and congratulations! Finding the right therapist can be difficult. My aim is for us to build a strong therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe, heard, and supported. Together, we will create a treatment plan that suits your unique human experience. I believe in the importance of cultivating self-awareness and the necessity of learning skills that will allow you to cope, heal, and grow. I aim to help my clients acknowledge and validate their concerns while increasing their sense of agency. I use a trauma-informed and holistic approach while incorporating techniques from a variety of different therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Attachment-Based, Emotion-Focused (EFT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Narrative, Somatic, and Cognitive Behavioural (CBT). I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 8 years of experience in the helping role where I provided support to diverse populations experiencing a wide range of concerns. Prior to this role, my experience included supporting individuals in a men’s inpatient forensic mental health unit, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and providing employment services to youth and adults. I earned a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Criminology, and Sociology from University of Toronto. I also have a Social Service Work Diploma from Humber College. I understand that life can sometimes feel difficult and hopeless, but change is possible. If you feel that you are ready to take the next step or want to learn more, please book a free 15-minute consultation. I look forward to meeting you- wherever you are on your life’s path. I offer in person (Mississauga Location) as well as Telehealth services (both telephone and secure video) in English.
