About Nadeem
I’m a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (Registration #838900). I received my Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2021 and previously completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care.
I take a holistic and strengths-based approach in my work, drawing on evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Unified Protocol (UP), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
I’m particularly passionate about working with supporting young people, students, and professionals with a focus on treating anxiety and related struggles. At the heart of my work is a commitment to empowering people to build resilience, engage in the present moment, embrace their strengths, identify their values, and live up to their full potential.
