About Morgan

Morgan Lipford grew up in Cole Harbour where she found her love for sports at a young age. As a youth and young teen, she competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 7 years before discovering a passion for recurve archery and transitioning to training it full time. She competed nationally as a Recurve Archer, including representing Nova Scotia in the 2023 Canada Winter Games. Morgan graduated from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy with honours. There she built a strong foundation in orthopaedic and functional assessments as well as anatomy and research-based treatment approaches. During her clinical rotations she gained additional experience working with arthritis, neurology, invisible illness, and sports clients. This allowed her to work with people of all ages, helping them achieve their movement and recovery goals so they can achieve more in their day-to-day lives. Morgan believes that recovery and maintenance look different for everyone, and that collaborative care is always beneficial. We are always aiming to help people function to the best of their ability and working together is often the quickest way to achieve that. In her own sport journey she has experienced the importance of a complete care team and the positive impact they can have on day-to-day functioning and athletic performance. While she still occasionally competes locally in archery, outside the clinic Morgan is more often found training at the gym, walking her dog, or curled up with her cat and a good book. She values honest, transparent, and informed care so that people can feel confident making decisions for their wellbeing.
