About Mike

Mike works with people living with persistent and complex pain, using psychologically informed approaches — including cognitive functional therapy and graded exposure — to help them rebuild confidence in movement and return to what matters to them. He also has a strong interest in knee and post-surgical rehabilitation, particularly ACL injury management and return to sport. His approach is active and exercise-based throughout: a background in kinesiology and strength and conditioning means strength and load capacity are built into the plan from the start rather than added at the end. Treatment is shaped around each person's goals, timelines, and what they're working toward. Mike earned his Master of Physiotherapy from The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University, where he competed on the varsity rowing team. He is currently completing a Master of Clinical Science in Advanced Health Care Practice (Sport and Exercise Medicine) at Western University. Outside the clinic, he's usually snowboarding, climbing, or somewhere on a trail.
