About Mike
Mike is a 2006 graduate of the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy and has been practicing for 8 years. He is a member in good standing with both the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia & the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Mike has also completed the Basic & Advanced Schweitzer Deep Tissue Therapy courses and specializes in deep tissue treatment for chronic pain, postural imbalances, repetitive strain, work related injury and motor vehicle accidents, as well as other related conditions. Mike prefers to address specific areas during treatment, which he believes will be most effective in achieving your treatment goals and getting you back on track. Therefore he prefers to address full body treatments in a 90 minute session, or longer. Working with each client’s tolerance to make certain treatment is both manageable and effective, Mike believes that a deep tissue treatment plan, including specific and general techniques, as well as properly-executed home care, is optimal for your continued soft tissue health, recovery and maintenance.
