About Mika

I am an astrologer originally from Japan. I was brought up in a household where daily life included shinto practices, honouring of ancestors, and ceremony. I have been learning and practising astrology since 2008 though I was first introduced at the age of ten. It has immensely helped me to understand my life circumstances, where I came from and what I’m moving toward. I see Astrology as a map in this vast ocean of life. Often we feel lost in the immensity of it all, and astrology gives insight to help us find our way. It also gives perspective and understanding of how cycles play out in our lives, and how best to work with them to increase our personal growth and enjoyment of life. My astrology practice draws mainly from Hellenistic Tradition, and is complemented by a variety of earth medicine practices and ceremonial work. Although my work is often aware of the celestial bodies it is deeply rooted in these earth practices. I honour love, truth, and integrity and my mission is to be of service in my community, and to guide and empower people through their journeys.
