Growing up, Michelle always had an interest in health care and becoming a healthcare provider. She decided to become a massage therapist after seeing how alternative ways of coping with chronic pain and inflammation helped her mom after knee surgery.
Her passion for work with pregnant women all started when she was in the delivery room for her sister’s babies. She was there to massage their backs through all the contractions and helped them feel less anxious.
She graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000-hour program in 2013. She is currently finishing up her degree in Health Science at Thompson Rivers University and would like to get her doula certification in the future.
She has had the chance to work on many different patients with various issues and is excited to be part of a multidisciplinary clinic where she can utilize her knowledge and skills, as well as work with other practitioners to benefit the patient and make sure that they have a successful recovery.
Michelle grew up in Richmond and played many team sports when she was in high school. She is very family oriented and looks forward to Sunday dinners with her entire family every weekend. Michelle recently moved to Ladner and has fallen in love with the community. She is a member of the Delta Choral Society and sings with the Delta Chamber Choir. During her spare time, she likes to plan out her entire week by decorating her planner with numerous stickers and colourful pens.
