About Michelle

Family-Centred Therapy for Youth, Individuals & Families Navigating Life’s Challenges I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and completed my Master of Education degree at the University of Calgary. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Diploma in Social Work. I support youth, teens, individuals, couples, and families navigating life’s complex and high-stress transitions. My collaborative and family-centred approach focuses on behavioural and mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem, and self-confidence challenges. I support clients through significant life transitions, including pregnancy, teen pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, family stress, separation, divorce, and the complexities of blended family dynamics. I also have a particular interest in supporting families caring for medically complex or ill children and loved ones. My approach is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centred Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to build insight, strengthen relationships, develop practical coping tools, improve emotional regulation, and foster meaningful and lasting change. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially during difficult seasons of life. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
