My first priority is to truly get to know you—your story, your struggles, and what brought you here. Just like physical health, mental health concerns often show up as symptoms with deeper roots underneath. Together, we’ll uncover what’s driving those struggles and work toward lasting change. My goal is for you to come out the other side with greater self-understanding, confidence, and a sense of mastery over your life. I’ve had the privilege of working with couples, families, parents, and teenagers, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, addictions, trauma, relationship distress, and parenting difficulties. No matter the issue, my focus is on creating a compassionate space where you can feel heard and supported as we work through it together. I have a particular passion for supporting neurodiverse clients. Growing up, my father had ADHD and two of my close friends were on the autism spectrum—experiences that gave me a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and challenges of neurodiverse individuals. Today, I find great joy in helping clients with Autism better understand themselves and find connection in the world around them. I also offer faith-based counselling for those who wish to integrate spirituality into their healing journey. Faith and spirituality often shape how we understand ourselves and what it means to be whole. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful space where you can explore your beliefs, ask hard questions, and find peace. While I come from a Christian background, you don’t need to share my faith perspective to benefit—faith-based counselling can be meaningful no matter where you are on your faith journey. What training and expertise do you bring to your sessions? My career journey began at a camp in British Columbia, where I discovered a natural gift for forming meaningful, healing connections with people who were struggling. That experience showed me how powerful genuine human connection can be in helping others find hope and direction. After camp, I pursued my studies at the University of Calgary and began volunteering with a youth mentorship program, where I developed a deep passion for supporting young people through life’s challenges. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping youth, families, and individuals navigate the obstacles that keep them from thriving. During my Master’s, I received training in: • Family Systems Therapy • Emotion-Focused Therapy • Solution-focused Brief Therapy • Autism Coaching I also have specialized training in suicide intervention, Circle of Security - Parenting, and qualitative autism assessment. I’m committed to lifelong learning—staying current with both established and emerging approaches to therapy—so I can provide clients with the most effective, compassionate support possible. Outside of your therapist role, what are some ways in which you express your uniqueness as a person? “Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know before you learned it.” – Maya Angelou This quote speaks deeply to me—and to every perfectionist who feels they should already “have it all figured out.” Therapy, much like life and faith, is a journey of growth, self-discovery, and learning to extend grace to ourselves along the way. Through my own journey, I’ve learned how easy it is to be too hard on myself. That awareness reminds me daily that I’m also a person in progress, walking alongside clients who are navigating their own process of change and healing. Outside of work, I love skiing, biking, hiking, writing, and spending time with my wife and son. A fun fact about me: I earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do during high school, and I also enjoy playing guitar, bass, piano, and drums—and singing when I get the chance.
