Miah is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist with a strong focus on patient care and physical rehabilitation. Placing emphasis on concerns such as sciatica, adhesive capsulitis, whiplash, postural dysfunction, muscular imbalances and more.
With a solid understanding of anatomy and biomechanics, her treatments aim not only to relieve symptoms but to address underlying causes and support long-term improvements in movement, strength, and posture. She values client education as well as collaborative care, helping patients feel informed and empowered throughout their recovery.
Miah is particularly interested in expanding her knowledge on the cranium, cervical spine and TMJ along with spinal and pelvic conditions. She uses a variety of techniques for TMJ treatment, including intra-oral massage, which can be especially helpful for symptoms such as jaw clicking, grinding, restricted movement, and related headaches.
Happy to work with children (approximately age 7+) she only asks that a parent or guardian attend the first few appointments while the child gets comfortable with massage and a new practitioner. If you decide to book your child please have a short conversation with them regarding the preferred removal of clothing, however they are of course welcome to wear shorts or a loose fitting shirt if they would like to. Miah only offers one-hour sessions, but there is flexibility to finish earlier if needed.
During her leisure time Miah enjoys flower and vegetable gardening, hiking, hand embroidery and reading in the company of her cat.
