Melissa completed her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.
Over the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients,
addressing issues such as injuries from motor vehicle accidents, post-surgical rehabilitation,
sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions.
Melissa's primary goal is to empower her clients with the knowledge and tools they need to take
control of their recovery and achieve a healthy, functional lifestyle. She combines education,
manual therapy, functional dry needling, and exercise prescription to support each individual's
journey to wellness.
As a former competitive soccer player, Melissa developed a deep interest in vestibular and
concussion care after personally experiencing a concussion on the field and seeing the significant
effects this can have on an individual. This experience sparked her passion to help others facing
similar challenges. Today, she specializes in treating patients with chronic or acute dizziness,
vertigo, balance issues, and post-concussion symptoms, offering compassionate care tailored to
each patient's needs.
Outside of the clinic, Melissa enjoys running, playing soccer, hiking and spending time with her
dog.
