About Melissa
Melissa graduated from Humber North College for the Massage Therapy program in 2022. Through internships she was able to develop the ability to work with people of special populations and conditions. With hands-on experience in a hospital setting and mental health facilities she has learned the importance of caring for clients' needs in order to enhance mental and physical well being.
From experience gained from school, she is eager to develop a stronger understanding of how she wants to be presented as a Massage Therapist. Her values include establishing a strong therapeutic relationship in order to effectively fulfill goals. Communication is key as it certifies that the delivery of treatment is informed and optimal comfort levels are achieved. She will provide information based on the treatment plan so that clients will know what to expect for each session.
She plans to work with clients in order to reach goals and assist in the improvement of one's well being and functionality.
