Melissa is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She joins the team at Marda Loop with 30 years of clinical experience in dealing with musculoskeletal injuries. She has her advanced diploma in Manipulative Therapy and certified in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation. Melissa has extensive postgraduate training and experience in concussion management, pediatric concussion, vestibular treatment and is one of the few physiotherapists in the calgary licensed to order diagnostic imaging.
Melissa has a hands on approach to treatment. She feels the right combination of manual therapy, dry needling, specific exercises and client participation will help the client reach their fullest potential.
In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her family, running, skiing and playing soccer.
