Mehrdad is a dedicated professional passionate about accompanying individuals through their personal growth and facilitating healing. With a strong academic and practical background, Mehrdad completed his master’s degree in counselling psychology at the University of British Columbia, complemented by another master’s degree in general psychology. Drawing inspiration from Rumi’s wisdom that “the wound is the place where the light enters you,” Mehrdad embodies an integrative approach to therapy, utilizing various modalities like an art pallet to suit each client’s unique needs. Having served as a therapist in Fraser Health in Vancouver for eight years and through private practice, Mehrdad has had the privilege of working with diverse clients as a group and individual therapist and utilizing music therapy combined with mindfulness. Mehrdad is deeply committed to his clients, approaching each therapeutic journey with empathy, understanding, and a steadfast dedication to facilitating meaningful and lasting change.
