Megan Sehn is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology with Great Distinction as well as a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy in 2016. As a U of S student, Megan began volunteering as an team trainer working with a variety of teams and acting as a mentor to other trainers when she was accepted into the School of Physical Therapy. She was recognized by the CIS for her contribution to sport while maintaining her Great Distinction in Academia. Megan had the opportunity to live, work, and conduct research in a remote Indigenous community. The research team she contributed to was published in the Spring 2019 edition of Physiotherapy Canada.
Since graduating and returning to her hometown of Medicine Hat, Megan has worked for three multidisciplinary private health care clinics for a combination of 7 years as well as in the public system with AHS for 3.5 years. Megan has also instructed in the Therapist Assistant Program at Medicine Hat College for 6 years where she also provided sport medical coverage to their athletic teams from 2016-2019. In 2017, Megan became a certified Sport First Responder and has spent the past 8 years volunteering as a team trainer for local 18UAA and 17UAAA hockey clubs. She is also currently one of the Head Therapists with Hockey Alberta working a variety of events over the past 2 years, including the 2025 Women's U18 National Championship. In the fall of 2023 Megan was trained in Female Urinary Incontinence and is certified to perform the restricted activity of Pelvic Floor Internal Examinations. She has also taken continuing education in the areas of concussion management, wheelchair seating and prescription, low back and hip pain management, advanced taping techniques, and a variety of other treatment and management techniques. In 2024. Megan founded and opened Sehn Physiotherapy.
