Mecca is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science. She has also completed her Level One Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification, Level 1 Calibrate Clinical Pilates Instructor Training, and her Pelvic Floor levels 1-3 through Pelvic Health Solutions.
Mecca takes an individualized, client-centred approach to each treatment session and works with clients to set meaningful goals. She believes in helping clients to understand their bodies while empowering them to become active participants in their treatment in order to achieve their goals and reach their potential. Mecca enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, and has experience working with people with various orthopedic injuries, complex medical conditions, chronic diseases, and post surgically. She uses an evidence-informed combination of targeted exercise, education, and hands-on techniques in her treatment sessions. As a lifelong learner, Mecca continues to expand her knowledge and keep up on the latest evidence to inform best practices.
Outside of the clinic Mecca enjoys staying active by running, swimming, and exploring new trails with her puppy.
