Maureen Codispodi (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with 25 years of experience in the field of mental health, education, and counselling. Philosophy Maureen is committed to supporting and empowering her clients so that they feel safe to explore what they need to move forward toward their own goals at their own pace. Therapeutic Approach Maureen utilizes a client-centred and integrative approach and she believes that it is her role in counselling to meet the client where they are. She works towards empowering clients to heal and re-integrate their learning and growth outside of the therapeutic relationship, so that they will be able to live healthier lives once counselling has completed. Focus Areas In her practice, Maureen focuses on immigration and acculturation issues, families and individuals with neurodiversity (ADHD/ASD), and learning and behavioural needs. As well, she supports educators as they navigate the complexities and challenges associated with working in schools/colleges and universities. Maureen works with clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
