Matthew graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy with a Diploma in Massage Therapy after completing his Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Human Kinetics from Capilano University.
As a recreational athlete, Matthew’s curiosity about the human body grew from wanting to better understand his own aches and discomforts. His interest in what he could do to feel better, along with his background in human movement, eventually led him to pursue a career in massage therapy.
Matthew believes massage therapy can play a role in helping people feel their best and continue doing the things that are meaningful to them. His approach goes beyond hands-on treatment—he values helping patients better understand their bodies while working collaboratively toward their individual goals.
Outside the clinic, Matthew enjoys running with local run clubs, playing ice hockey, strength training, and travelling. He hopes to one day complete an Ironman abroad.
