Akwaaba! (Welcome). I am of Ghanaian-Canadian descent and am grateful for the privilege of calling the unceded territory of Treaty 7 home. As a registered social worker, my goal is to support individuals in navigating life’s challenges, helping them manage stress, and empowering them to live fulfilling lives. I am a dedicated advocate for BIPOC communities, with a deep understanding of the stigma and barriers to accessing resources that this group often encounters. This fuels my commitment to creating a safe, inclusive space for all. I place great importance on recognizing and respecting individuals’ intersecting identities and the unique ways these factors shape their experiences and well-being. Through fostering an environment where people feel heard, supported, and validated, I aim to provide compassionate, culturally responsive, and personalized care. My approach is grounded in recognizing the inherent strengths of every individual while helping them navigate life’s complexities.
