Marlon felt drawn to helping people heal, which led him to develop his skills and knowledge in massage therapy. He also loved the idea of a career which promotes independence and autonomy and practicing massage at Whitby Massage Therapy & Wellness has been a great place for Marlon to foster those values. Marlon’s approach to treatment is versatile and adaptable to his patient’s needs, whether that’s relaxation, sports-related, deep tissue, etc. He believes that massage should never be painful, but a perfect mix of some discomfort and feeling very relaxed. His goal is always for his patients to leave their treatments feeling better than when they arrived. Marlon works with patients of all ages, from infants (0-3) to seniors. He incorporates several different modalities into his practice, such as: trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cupping therapy (stationary and with movement), pre-post-natal, passive stretching, and Indie head massage. When he is not working, Marlon loves to cook (and eat) and sleep!
