Mark Filk completed his Master’s of science in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Scotland. Mark had an interesting career, after completing his Bachelor of Economics at Carleton University in 2016, he yearned for a career that was more fulfilling to him. He sought out courses in massage therapy and personal training and rehab courses for the elderly in Montréal. Although he’s a newly graduate physiotherapist, his experience working in the field has accumulated to 9 years in 2025.
Mark’s personal training and massage background has given him the opportunity to work alongside physiotherapists in various clinical and private settings. Mark has worked with ages ranging from 12 to 93 presenting with various conditions.
Mark thoroughly enjoys treating patients of all ages and levels of activity. He puts a lot of emphasis on shared decision making with the patient so both parties have a mutual understanding in the treatment and rehabilitation plan. Mark Filk a obtenu une maîtrise en physiothérapie à l'Université Queen Margaret, en Écosse. Mark a eu une carrière intéressante. Après avoir obtenu son baccalauréat en économie à l'Université Carleton en 2016, il a aspiré à une carrière plus satisfaisante pour lui. Il a cherché à suivre des cours de massothérapie et d'entraînement personnel, ainsi que des cours de réadaptation pour les personnes âgées à Montréal. Bien qu'il soit un physiothérapeute nouvellement diplômé, son expérience de travail dans le domaine s'est accumulée pendant 9 ans en 2025.
L'expérience de Mark en matière d'entraînement personnel et de massage lui a donné l'occasion de travailler aux côtés de physiothérapeutes dans divers contextes cliniques et privés. Mark a travaillé avec des patients âgés de 12 à 93 ans souffrant de diverses pathologies.
Mark aime beaucoup traiter des patients de tous âges et de tous niveaux d'activité. Il insiste beaucoup sur la prise de décision partagée avec le patient afin que les deux parties aient une compréhension mutuelle du plan de traitement et de rééducation. Il s'agit notamment de fixer des objectifs avec le patient et de veiller à ce que vos objectifs soient également les siens.
