About Marieta
Marieta is a Squamish Based Sports Massage Therapist with 15 years of experience in sports injury rehabilitation and prevention. As a former Team Canada athlete competing in the Climbing World Cup Circuit, Marieta has been through many common sports injuries herself and has first-hand experience with the rehabilitation process through sports massage therapy.

Trained under some of the most respected Sports Medicine Chiropractors and MD’s, Marieta has worked with NHL players at the Gary Robert’s High Performance Centre since 2014. She’s now expanded to other professional athletes from the NBA and MLB, in addition to runners, mountain bikers, skiers, ironman athletes and elite rock climbers.
Marieta has developed a unique treatment style to identify and treat the root cause of her patients’ complaint rather than just focusing on the symptoms. She believes the best results are achieved when a treatment plan incorporates a thorough assessment through which she educates her clients on their movement and strength dysfunctions.
Beyond hands-on massage therapy, Marieta walks her patients through corrective exercises to improve long-term neurofunctional movement patterns and train the brain through the newly acquired movement capabilities.
