About Marianne
Marianne Caroleo is a registered psychotherapist who has completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is also a Child and Youth Care Practitioner. She has achieved her Bachelor of Art in Child and Youth Care at Toronto Metropolitan University (formally Ryerson University), a Child and Youth Worker diploma and Children’s Mental Health Certificate from Humber College. Marianne is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Marianne has experience working with children and adolescents in the school system and children’s mental health.
Marianne is passionate about helping people seek positive change and growth in their lives. Using warmth and compassion, she fosters a safe and supportive space to help individuals and families feel comfortable sharing their stories.
Marianne utilizes a collaborative and accepting approach that allows her to draw on various treatment modalities to assist clients in navigating their unique needs and challenges. The therapeutic relationship is key to developing trust between her and her clients, allowing them to work together to build on their strengths and begin their healing journey.
Marianne is prepared to work with clients to create a treatment plan, goals, and outcomes. Her focus will be on listening to clients tell their stories to help them recognize and build on their strengths, abilities and assets. Sessions will be tailored to each client to meet the unique needs that people have.
Marianne utilizes an integrative approach that allows her to work from various treatment lenses such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal theory, and solution-focused therapy. Additionally, Marianne works from a strength-based and
