Mariam is a warm, compassionate, and culturally responsive Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist who believes meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely heard and understood. She creates a collaborative space where clients can explore life's challenges, build resilience, and move toward lasting growth. Mariam values authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and enjoys using humor when appropriate to help clients feel comfortable and at ease. Her warm, approachable, and light-hearted nature allows her to build genuine relationships while creating a safe space where clients feel supported without judgment.
Mariam has experience supporting adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and stress. Growing up in an immigrant family inspired her passion for culturally responsive care and deepened her understanding of the unique challenges that can arise when navigating culture, identity, and mental health. She is committed to empowering clients with practical tools, greater self-awareness, and renewed confidence as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.
