About Mari

Mari is a registered physiotherapist with a passion for helping people better understand their bodies and feel confident in their recovery. Her clinical experience includes pelvic health physiotherapy for both males and females (Pelvic Health Levels I, II and III), treating TMJ dysfunction, acupuncture and dry needling, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, as well as integrating manual therapy techniques for the whole body. As a clinician, her treatment style is individualized and patient-centred. She understands that no two people experience an injury or condition in the same way, and she takes the time to listen, understand each patient’s goals, and develop a treatment approach that is specific to their needs. She believes that patients should feel heard, comfortable, and actively involved in their recovery. Mari values an integrated approach to physiotherapy and believes that successful rehabilitation involves looking at the person as a whole, rather than simply treating a diagnosis or symptom. She is committed to evidence-based practice and continually developing her knowledge and clinical skills to provide thoughtful and effective care. Outside of the clinic, Mari enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She loves hiking with her dog, Benji, playing soccer, going to pilates, and snowboarding. Her own enjoyment of movement and an active lifestyle has reinforced her belief in the importance of helping patients return to the activities they love and feel confident doing the things that are important to them. Above all, Mari strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel supported throughout their rehabilitation journey. She believes that physiotherapy is not just about reducing pain, but about empowering people with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take an active role in their health.
